1. PAYMENT

The balance shown overleaf becomes due when delivery is arranged and must be made at least 48 hours before delivery or fitting. In the case of special orders, payment of the balance is due within fourteen days of notification that the goods are in stock or on delivery whichever is the earlier.

We reserve the right to charge interest at a flat rate of 4% above Bank of England base rate on any overdue balances.

2. PRICES

Provided the required 25% minimum deposit is paid when the order is placed, all prices quoted are firm prices unless delivery is delayed by the customer, in which case any increase levied by our suppliers will be passed on.

3. EXTENDED CREDIT

Special orders can only be placed after credit applications have been approved, and no delivery or supply of stock merchandise can be made prior to approval.

4. DELIVERY DATES

All dates given by our suppliers are quoted in good faith, but the company will not be bound to supply the goods where there is a failure to supply the goods by the supplier. The company will make every effort to honour delivery estimates but can accept no liability for, or damages resulting from, overdue deliveries.

5. VAT

Any changes in VAT rates, or conditions legally imposed as to the charging of VAT or any other government taxes to any applicable sale will have to be compiled with and the appropriate adjustment made.

6. STORAGE

Subject to the conditions of payment being met, storage can be arranged for a maximum of twelve weeks by prior arrangement. Thereafter a charge of £25 per week per item shall normally be payable.

7. CUSTOMER SERVICE

We are an independent Family Business and pride ourselves on the way we care for our customers,as well as being members of the BHF / BSSA Group and Associated Independent Stores.

8. GUARANTEES

We have confidence in the products which we offer for sale and are happy to make good any defects notified to us in the first twelve months after purchase free of charge but after that time we reserve the right to make a charge for after sales service.

9. PRICE PROMISE

If you buy any stock item from us and find within seven days that you could have purchased the same item, locally, at a lower fully inclusive price on the same terms, then we will happily refund the difference. Written confirmation is required.

10. DELIVERIES

We are unable to offer a set time for delivery to customers but will always stipulate a morning or afternoon delivery to minimise waiting times.

This may be subject to change at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances.

It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure there is adequate access to the room where the furniture is to be positioned and that the furniture will fit in the proposed space.

11. CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS

Subject to your statutory rights, cancellations and returns will not be accepted, but at our sole discretion we may offer you a limited time credit note after deduction of a 50% handling charge.

12. MARKETING

We may use your detail to contact you for marketing or other purposes whether in writing, by land or mobile telephone, SMS messaging or email, although your details will never be passed to other companies without your prior consent. Please write to out Commercial Director at the address overleaf if you do not wish to receive such communications or wish to revoke this consent at any time.
